Dinos

This on-going dinosaur project was started a few years ago with my good friend Mary Collins. I hope incorporate our little buds in my farmers market booth this summer. Layers of colored felt, cut uniquely to fit each dino's personality, are sewn with googly eyes and decorations to t-shirts, bags, hats and more! Felt fabric adhesive helps keep the clothing sturdy and machine washable. The dinosaurs have been great for baby and birthday gifts as well as a fun, easy project for kids and beginner crafters.

Rhino 3D modeling... in 3D. That's 9 whole D's

While working on my long span studio project i discovered an awesome feature in Rhinoceros 4.0. Old school red/blue 3D! After lashing some colored transparency sheets to a pair of safety goggles I was blown away at the level of depth and clarity that you're able to get from the model, even with out materials and lighting in place. I've been experimenting with the idea of printing off my final building section thats due friday in this method and lasercutting some sexy frames to go along with it!
